The NEXUS stainless steel buffer tanks comply with the production control according to the European Directive 2014/68/EU (module A). With the advanced welding technique, the buffers have an internationally high, durable quality level and a very elegant appearance and excellent resistance. Features of Duplex 2205 stainless steel: 22% Chromium, 5% Nickel, 3% Molybdenum. The 2205 alloy offers superior corrosion resistance compared to stainless steel 316L, especially in chloride environments. In addition, the mechanical properties, such as the yield strength, are approximately twice as high as those of stainless steel 304 and 316L.
