NEXUS stainless steel buffer tanks comply with production control according to European Directive 2014/68/EU (Module A). With advanced welding technology, the buffers feature an internationally high, durable quality level, a very elegant appearance, and excellent resistance to corrosion. Features of Duplex 2205 stainless steel: 22% Chromium, 5% Nickel, 3% Molybdenum. The 2205 alloy offers superior corrosion resistance compared to stainless steel 316L, especially in chloride environments. In addition, the mechanical properties, such as the yield strength, are approximately twice as high as those of stainless steel 304 and 316L.
